Thank You Wizard

I finally got everything downloaded that you recommended and my computer is working so much faster now....I really am Thankful that you're here to help us Computer Dummies with our problems....at least with your help I saved my Computer from my husband's fury. He tends to throw electronic items against the wall or on the road for the big trucks to run over when they don't do what he wants them to (ours not someone else's)--sighs---and he's got a bit more savvy concerning how to work with these things--he's a TV/small appliance Repairman...go figure...

Again thanks a mil for your help.

Re: Thank You Wizard

It's nice to see compliments posted on how I have helped, but to me these things are simple but to the novice they seem incredible so I think you can say YOU are the genius's for trying instead of holding back and pondering on the problem.

Some people are afraid to try but like I say its nice to see that I've given not only knowledge to someone but the most important thing of all is giving the user the Confidence they can do it.

My door is always open, you can walk in anytime and ask for help anytime whatever the subject. If I don't know a solution I will find one, test it then post it so users can understand it. It may be look like a long way of doing it but this is I find the best way to get new users to understand what to do.

Those techno junkies and geeks can talk and rabbit on all they like, it still seems gooble-dee-gook to people. I give it to you plain and simple emoticon

Re: Thank You Wizard

The fact that you explain things in a way that I can understand is the greatest thing...we have a friend that is (as you call 'em) a Techno Geek and he'll sit here and rattle off all those tech terms that completely go over my head...I'm 56 years old and have memory problems (since the stroke) and he expects me to grasp what he's saying in one fell swoop...

Again Thank You Wizard for Understanding our need for plain English instructions.

And the fact that you have the patience of a saint when it comes to people like me, who sometimes don't even get your SIMPLE stuff! emoticon
Granny, I've had times when I simply turned my site OVER to him and said...HELP!!! Just DO IT! emoticon
So not only does he have the patience for us, he's willing to 'just do it' if all else fails.
But the fact that you are a genuine decent human being, lets me trust you enough to give you control...... emoticon
So, my friend....this all might seem like old hat to you...but it's pretty darned special to us... emoticon
