Hosting files?
Is there anywhere where you can host files/programs so that friends can download them?

Re: Hosting files?
There are loads out there CD, I use File Lodge for hosting files, they offer you links too to help with downloads.
You can upload, files, music etc and they will provide the links so you can use HTML to use them, the only downfall is that the server is un-reliable, so.....
I have used 'File Factory' in the past and that is much better, a bit fiddly to find the actually link you are looking for but they are reliable and offer a good free service.
LINK: http://www.filefactory.com
You'll have to register to use it, which is free, save to your favorites folder for future reference, jot down the username and password and off you go.
It's the best I've seen yet, not as good as file lodge but it gets the job done.
I recommend you use WinZip to add your files to the File Factory server, this way you can add many a different file in different formats

Re: Hosting files?
Thanks for that Wizard. I didn't think to enter 'free file hosting' into Google. Goodness there are thousands of them. Off I go.
